Train the Brain is a browser-based idle/clicker game in which you manually control the vital functions of a living organism – from the inside.

You start with a single task: keep the blood oxygen stable by clicking the heart. Left ventricle, then right. Over time you learn to breathe with the lungs, regulate body temperature, eat and drink, digest food, detoxify the bloodstream, fight off infections, manage stress hormones, and heal injuries.

Every repeated action builds experience. When enough XP has accumulated, a Level-Up is queued and applied the next time you sleep. Higher levels unlock automation – sliders that gradually take over the most repetitive tasks – but also increase the body's demands. More organs mean more oxygen consumption. More days survived mean harder external challenges.

Key features:

  • interconnected organ systems, each with its own XP track and upgrade path

  • Systems unlock progressively: start simple, gradually reveal complexity

  • Automation unlocks at higher levels – but never removes the need for attention entirely

  • External demands (physical exertion, cold snaps, infections, poisoning, trauma, …) scale in frequency and strength the longer you survive

  • Every body value is connected: low hydration slows detox, infections raise fever, adrenaline boosts wound healing but costs toxin levels

  • Endless idle/survival – no win condition, just see how many days you last

  • Runs entirely in the browser, no installation needed

How long can you keep the organism alive?

Your turn

I'd love to know how you found the game – and how far you made it!

  - Leave a rating if you enjoyed it (or even if you think it needs work)

  - Drop a comment with your high score: how many days did you survive?

  - Got an idea for a new organ system, mechanic, or event? Write it below – the best suggestions will make it into a future update.

Every piece of feedback helps. This is a tiny project made with a lot of curiosity, and knowing someone played it means a lot.
